The HP (High Performance) range of films has been developed to achieve very high heat reduction in a non-reflective (ie not mirrored) film. It achieves this high heat reduction by compromising slightly on visible light and on reflectivity. This film has been designed to block slightly more visible light than most people would find comfortable in a living area but perhaps acceptable in a bedroom and it is slightly more reflective (black reflections not silver reflections) than most people would prefer. This combination of performance characteristics makes the HP 15 a popular choice for west facing rooms (particularly bedrooms) to achieve a high heat reduction. The HP15 film is also frequently used in conjunction with the Ambiance 25 film that is often chosen for living areas where people wish to maintain good natural lighting. | ||
